Alright first act of business is to start off with Classroom session 1:
What is Wicca? Understanding It
What is the correct term to call a Wiccan? Well the correct term would be of course Wiccan, but Wiccans are also referred to as Witches, Wizards or Sorcerers for both Male and Female.
Never call a Wiccan a Warlock for this term is very insulting since the term means "Oath Breaker" and later became to mean "Liar".
Wizard means Wise, and Sorcerer means "Witch" or "Diviner".
The term Magician is appropriate as well for both male and female since it dates back to ancient Persia with the term "Magi". And the reason why you see the work Magick with a K is because to differentiate between stage magic (sleight of hand).
Now to get into something fun. The "Karmic Law":
Bide the Wiccan law ye must In perfect love, in perfect trust, Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill: An' ye harm none, do what ye will. What ye send forth comes back to thee, So ever mind the Rule of Three. Follow this with mind and heart, And merry ye meet, and merry ye part.
Now a question that all those may wander....Where do Witches go when they die?
Christianity has Heaven Buddhism has Nirvana
Witches believe their souls go to Summerland, a resting place before the soul is reincarnated into its new body. With the belief of an ongoing cycle of birth, life, death, and rebirth. Even though yes, reincarnation has never been proven or validated. Reincarnation and Karmic teaches us that past affects the present, and present to the future. It teaches us that no matter what life cycle we are in, choices will always have an affect on everything.
The first Wiccan spell you will be learning is a Zen Spell. This is spell done for someone who is in need. A spell that is at least 2,500 years old. It's effective most when you do t hat your not attached to any outcome that may come. Saying the prayer acknowledges that a high er force is working in the best interest for whom the prayer is said for. This is in a way a boost for the spiritual immune system and it will also increases a person's available energy. When you decide to write this prayer out, who ever it is for write the persons name a top the paper before reading the prayer to the said person:
May He Be...: May he be filled with loving kindness. May he be well. May he be peaceful and at ease. May he be happy.
This is what I have for you guys of chapter one of "The Only Book of Wiccan Spells You'll Ever Need" I will continue some more tomorrow with chapter one, we will be spending a week on this chapter before we start chapter two.
Homework:
Okay now for homework time from the book Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft by Raymond Buckland. I want everyone to read the first three chapters and do the exorcises at the back of each chapter. Deadline is Sunday July 20th we will have a discussion of the answers on that Monday, July 21st if you have any questions in needing help feel free to ask me and I will help you as best as possible on where to find the answer.

Hello everyone I know I missed a few days of classroom but I am getting myself back on track. Today's lesson is actually going to complete chapter one so this post will be rather long. Sorry about that, I will be giving everyone time tomorrow on Sunday to get chapters 1-3 done of Bucklands Complete Book of Witchcraft. Remember Monday is our discussion day.
Chapter One of The Only Book of Wiccan Spells You'll Ever Need Continued:
Wiccans believe in two Divine forms, A Feminine and A Masculine, which in turn is a God and a Goddess. Mother Earth symbolizes the Goddess and Wiccans depict the God having three faces which represent all three stages of a mans life. Other religions do this as well. In Christianity you have the male Trinity of the Father, The son and The Holy Spirit. In the Hindu religion you have Brahma (Creativeness), Vishnu (Preserver), and Shiva (Destroyer). Even though it is obvious how these deities differ the tripart expression for the masculine force is still the same.
The Goddess is also represented into three stages of a woman's life; Maiden, Mother and Crone. The Goddess is represented a lot of times in art. Like in Celtic Art this tripart is illustrated with three interlocking pointed loops called Vesica Piscis. This shows symbolism to the opening to the womb. Many others show the three phases with the phases of the moon; Waxing, Waning, Full.
Here are the representations for the Maiden/Son, Mother/Father, Crone/Grandfather:
The Maiden: -Baby Animals (Before Puberty) -Silver, White, Light Blue -Lace, Thin Cotton, Silk -Clear Quartz, Pearl, Diamond, Aquamarine -Chaste tree, Meadowsweet, Lemongrass, White Rose,Hyacinth, Narcissus, Crocus, Apple Blossoms, Peach Blossoms, Lilac, Gardenia -Dawn until Noon -Spring Months -Waxing Moon
The Mother: -Pregnant or Nursing Animals -Rudy Red, Forest Green, Royal Blue, Amber -Velvet, Damask, Cashmere, Mohair -Geode, Emerald, Turquoise, Opal, Coral, Rose Quartz, Amber -Apple, Pomegranate, Peach, Raspberry, Strawberry, Red Clover, Red Rose, Mint, Iris, Jasmine, Cinnamon, Parsley, Daisy, Myrtle, Orchid, Saffrom -Noon to Sunset -Summer through Harvest months -The Full Moon
The Crone: -Old Animals -Brown, Black, Midnight Blue, Purple -Wool and Linen -Smoky Quartz, Jet, Onyx, Amethyst, Fossils -Holly, Mandrake, Pine, Juniper, Misteltoe, Nightshade, Nuts, Oak, Moss, Wintergreen, Ginseng, Dried or Withered Plants -Sunset to Dawn -Fall and Winter -The Waning Moon
The Son: He is the youthful aspect of God and he signifies naivete, daring, adventure, vitality, action, exuberance and freedom. With the ancient Egyptians the sun was expressed as Horus, the one who flies freely through the skies. With the Sun in one eye and the Moon in the other.
The Father: The mature face of God he represents strength, power, authority, leadership, ability, protection, responsibility, and courage. He is viewed as a warrior king i some cultures and a wise ruler in others. In western modern society he could be seen as a corporate executive.
The Grandfather: The elder aspect of the masculine divine, or Grandfather, a wise and wily God. He oversees the underworld the place where souls are said to go in between lives, destiny, death, resurrection and justice. Much like the Crones his concerns extend beyond our physical world and involve the process of transformation, the assimilation of knowledge, and movement between the various levels of existence.
Well I have come to the decision to stretch chapter one into next week so the information isn't overwhelming. Don't forget if you have any questions feel free to ask below. Open discussion will begin Monday July 21 for the questions at the end of chapters 1-3 in the Homework. Can't wait to see you there. Have fun!
Blessed Be, Mora Leny
